The 5400 GPH flow rate has been more than enough for my 12,000-gallon pool. I found the installation straightforward; if you have some basic knowledge of working with PVC pipes, you should do fine.

The self-priming feature works as advertised, and I love how energy-efficient it is. This pool pump has also been significantly quieter than my old one, which is a huge plus.
