I've been using the hygger Aquarium Double Sponge Filter for my 90-litre tank for the past 4-5 months. The biological filtration is excellent, and the sponges are easy to clean without dismantling the entire unit. However, the suction cups are unreliable, needing frequent reattachment. The central pipe also developed an air leak, so I'm considering replacing it.

A great concept, but the execution leaves room for improvement.

Initially, I had issues with airstones causing water to splash out of the tank. Switching to the hygger Aquarium Double Sponge Filter solved this problem. The adjustable bubble flow redirected along the water's surface prevents water from splashing.

This filter provides additional mechanical and biological filtration, and my tank water is noticeably clearer now. Highly recommended if you have an air pump.

I bought the hygger filter for my fry tank, and it's been a great addition. The guppy fry can rest on the sponges safely, and the adjustable outlet can create a waterfall effect. It even came with two spare sponges and chambers for biomax, which is a nice bonus. It’s quiet and efficient with just an air pump, saving on electrical outlets.

The packaging for the hygger Aquarium Double Sponge Filter was straightforward and neat. Setting it up went smoothly, and it started working right away. However, after some time, air began leaking from the connection points, affecting its performance.

Might be just a defective piece, but it does compromise my experience.

I paired the hygger filter with a double outlet air pump for my 60-litre tank. It provides impressive biological and mechanical filtration, making the water clear. It's practically silent, but the suction cups need frequent reattachment.

Despite this minor inconvenience, I find it quite useful.

I bought this filter to manage the biological filtration in my 75-litre tank. The filter works as advertised, improving water clarity. It's easy to clean and maintenance-friendly. The most significant downside is the unreliable suction cups, which often detach from the glass.

I chose the hygger Aquarium Double Sponge Filter to replace my old filter. It's doing a good job keeping my 55-litre tank water clear. The adjustable bubble outflow is a neat feature.

Sadly, the suction cups don’t hold well, but it’s a trade-off I can live with for now.

Excellent filter for the price. The water in my 40-litre tank is crystal clear, and the fish seem happier. Cleaning the sponges is a breeze. Only issue is the suction cups detaching frequently.

For how well it filters, I’ll overlook that minor problem.

In my 90-litre tank, this hygger filter works efficiently with my air pump. The additional biological filtration has kept my water clearer than ever. It’s easy to maintain, but those darn suction cups keep falling off. An upgrade in the suction cups would make this product exceptional.

Got this hygger filter for my shrimp tank. The shrimp love climbing on it, and it keeps the tank water very clear. It’s a reliable backup filter as well. Installation was straightforward, but I wish the suction cups were more reliable.

This filter has dramatically improved water quality in my 80-litre tank. It's nearly silent and the biological filtration is top-notch. However, the suction cups keep detaching, which is quite frustrating. It’s a great idea hampered by poor execution in this aspect.

The hygger Aquarium Double Sponge Filter has been a reliable addition to my 55-litre fry tank. Easy to install, quiet, and the water has never looked better. The filter is effective, yet the suction cups lose grip quickly, which is a bit of a hassle.

Very efficient filter for my 40-litre aquarium. The hygger filter has improved water clarity and fish health noticeably. Maintenance is straightforward, but the suction cup issue is a recurring problem.

Wish the manufacturers would address this flaw.
