I gave this jacket a go during some light rain showers and was pretty pleased with the results. The coat is very comfortable to wear and does a good job of repelling water for a while. However, it's not fully waterproof. If you're caught in moderate to heavy rain, water will eventually seep through in areas like the shoulders and back.

Despite this, the Hount jacket is still a great option for light showers and looks stylish!
