I've had several hiking shoes, but Merrell Moab 3 GTX stands out for its comfort. Considering I deal with plantar fasciitis, finding shoes that support my condition isn't easy. These shoes provide a roomy toe box and decent arch support. I replaced the insoles with more supportive ones, but even without that, they have good heel stability.

I was initially skeptical about switching from my old pair of Solomon, but someone recommended Merrell Men’s Moab 3 GTX, and I am glad I made the shift. They are lightweight and very comfortable for long-distance walks. I did switch out the original insoles for memory foam ones, which enhanced comfort even more. They are quite affordable for the quality you get.
