I've tried several whetstones before, but the MIDO Professional Abrasive Whetstone stands out due to its innovative design and affordability. The dual-sided 1000/6000 grit is perfect for my kitchen knives—1000 grit for repairing and the 6000 grit for a fine polish. It comes with a non-slip bamboo base that ensures stability during use. For $199, I wasn't expecting miracles, but this stone exceeded my expectations.

I purchased this whetstone mainly for my hunting knives, and while it does a good job on those, I noticed some de-shaping after a while. The 1000 grit quickly reshapes dull edges, but the 6000 grit doesn’t get the knife as sharp as I hoped. The packaging was minimal but effective, and the stone looked high-quality right out of the box. It's an okay product but not the best I've used.

The MIDO 2 Side Grit 1000/6000 whetstone is quite good for the price. It's excellent for sharpening chisels, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The rubber casing keeps the stone firm during usage. It loses shape quicker than I would like, but overall, it offers good value for $

After about a week of use, I think the MIDO Professional Knife Sharpener is quite functional for my kitchen knives. The non-slip bamboo base is a nice touch, adding to the safety and ease of use. The 1000 grit side repairs nicks and dings quite well, and the 6000 grit provides a decent finish. However, it doesn't get my knives razor sharp.
It's decent for the price.

When I ordered the MIDO Knife Sharpening Stone, I was looking for an affordable way to maintain my kitchen knives. The stone arrived promptly and was well-packaged. The bamboo base is surprisingly sturdy and keeps the stone in place. It sharpens most of my kitchen knives fairly well, though it doesn't perform miracles on very dull knives.
Overall, satisfied with the purchase for the price.

The MIDO 1000/6000 Grit Knife Sharpener is quite good, especially for $199. The 1000 grit side is really good for reshaping dull knives, and the 6000 grit side works decently for final honing. However, it's not the most durable, as it does seem to wear down faster than other stones I've used.
The bamboo base is a great addition, making the sharpening process safer.

Initially, I was unsure about a whetstone in this price range, but the MIDO Professional Abrasive Whetstone pleasantly surprised me. The stone fits nicely in its non-slip bamboo base, making it stable and easy to use. Both the 1000 and 6000 grit sides work fine for my kitchen knives, although I noticed the stone wears down relatively quickly.

I have a collection of kitchen and hunting knives, and this MIDO sharpening stone does a decent job on both. The 1000 grit side is great for reshaping, but the 6000 grit side doesn't get the knives as sharp as I would like. It was nicely packed and the instructions were clear.
All in all, it's a good product for $

This is a very handy whetstone for the price. The MIDO Professional knife sharpener with its 1000/6000 grit is easy to use and efficient for kitchen knives. I appreciate the non-slip bamboo base which adds to the safety aspect. However, I find that the stone de-shapes relatively quickly.
Overall, it's fairly good value.

I bought this MIDO 2-Side Grit Knife Sharpener because of the affordable price and decent reviews. It arrived in good packaging and the bamboo base was a pleasant surprise. For my kitchen knives, it's been quite useful. The 1000 grit provides a good reshaping ability, but the 6000 grit didn't give me the ultra-sharp edge I was hoping for.
Might work better for chisels or less-used knives.

I'm impressed by the performance of the MIDO Abrasive Whetstone. The non-slip bamboo base holds the stone well, ensuring safety while sharpening. The 1000/6000 grit combination is useful for honing different types of blades, but the stone does wear out sooner than other, more expensive options. Given the price, it's a good mid-range sharpener.

I purchased this MIDO 1000/6000 Grit Knife Sharpener as a budget-friendly option. While the 1000 grit does a good job repairing the edge, the 6000 grit doesn't quite achieve the sharpness I need. The bamboo base is a great feature and the stone stays in place. It's a decent choice if you’re looking for an affordable option.

The MIDO Knife Sharpener is good, but not the best I've used. It works fine for my kitchen knives with the 1000 grit restoring the blade, and the 6000 giving it a decent edge. The bamboo base helps keep it stable which is great.
It doesn’t maintain its shape for long, though, so I might need a replacement sooner than expected.

The MIDO Professional Abrasive Whetstone is a reasonably good deal for $199. It's easy to use, and the bamboo base keeps it steady. The 1000 grit helps reshape my kitchen knives quite well, but the 6000 grit didn't achieve the level of sharpness I wanted. For the price, it’s a decent purchase, just don't expect premium results.

I've been using the MIDO Professional knife sharpener for a couple of months now, and it does a pretty satisfactory job considering its price. The 1000 grit side repairs dull edges effectively, while the 6000 grit side does improve sharpness, although not to a professional level. The bamboo base is a nice feature that keeps the stone from slipping.
Overall, it’s a practical option for everyday use.
