I was skeptical at first, but after using Sika Sikagard Universal for my wooden garden shed, I'm pleasantly surprised. The water-based formula seems to penetrate well, and the wood has maintained its integrity through a couple of rainy spells. The clear finish is a bonus as it doesn't change the appearance. Very promising.
