I bought this Pro Grade Chip Brush pack because I needed some affordable brushes for a large staining project. I have used them for both stains and varnishes, and they do a decent job. The brushes aren't top-tier quality, but for the price, you really can't expect them to be. They are lightweight and easy to handle.

Some hairs do tend to come loose, but as long as you're aware of the limitations, they are fine for casual use.

I think these are ideal for jobs where you don't need a high-quality finish. They arrived quickly and were well-packaged.
