After using a Manfrotto ball head for almost ten years, I decided to switch to this Neewer model. The main reason was to use Arca Swiss plates and to gain the ability to take panoramic shots. The build quality is superb, and it attached to my tripod perfectly. However, positioning the camera vertically can be tricky due to the placement of the dials, but it's manageable with an L bracket.

I tested it in harsh weather conditions in Iceland, and it held up extremely well. For $30.39, this ball head is an amazing value.
