I’m a 5’2 woman averaging around 200 lbs. I got an extra large because I’m very heavy in the chest area. The dress is extremely stretchy and long (not complaining). Dress is not see-through but the panel holding the front seems a little too high up for comfort.

But the practicality of the dress is very nice. Very flowy and light in weight. So if you think you need an XL, downsize because it will be too long for comfort.
