I bought these FREE SOLDIER Tactical Boots specifically for a week-long hiking trip in the Southwest. I was looking for something lightweight and breathable, and these boots delivered. However, they do run a bit big.

I recommend ordering a half size smaller than you usually wear. They are comfortable and didn't give me any blisters during the trip, but they could use a bit more ankle support. Overall, a good purchase for the price.
