I like using the TORCHSTAR Metal Desk Lamp for my late-night studies. The adjustable gooseneck is useful to direct light exactly where needed. The light output with an E26 bulb is decent for reading and taking notes.

However, I did find the base to be a bit lightweight, and it tipped over once when fully extended.
