I keep it in my bedroom, and it has significantly improved the air quality to the point where my sinuses are no longer stuffy in the morning. Setting 1 is whisper quiet, setting 2 has a comfortable hum, and setting 3 produces a reasonable fan sound.

I appreciate the light-touch buttons, which are different from press-and-click types. Overall, it's a well-made unit.
