I've had the Big Hippo Sun Shade for about a year now in the southern heat, and it works fairly well to keep the car cooler. However, after constant use, the sunshade did start to show its wear. The fact it was shipped folded in half didn't help, as that fold became the weakest point. If they improve the shipping method, I think this sun shade could last even longer.
